Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for 412 Web Co.'s website design and maintenance services. It applies alongside — not instead of — the individual Web Design & Maintenance Services Agreement you sign with us, which takes precedence if the two ever conflict.
Starting Fee
Our project pricing includes a one-time starting fee, invoiced at project kickoff. This fee is billed on standard payment terms — it is not collected as a prepaid deposit before work begins, and work starts at the same time the project kicks off.
- If a project is cancelled before kickoff: no starting fee is invoiced, and nothing is owed.
- If a project is cancelled shortly after kickoff, before meaningful work has been completed: contact us and we'll adjust or cancel the invoice as appropriate for the stage of work.
- Once the project is substantially underway or delivered: the starting fee reflects work performed and is non-refundable.
Monthly Recurring Fees
Monthly fees cover hosting, security, and support for the billing period they apply to. Because these costs are incurred as the month happens, not in advance of it:
- Monthly fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial months.
- You will not be charged for any month after your cancellation takes effect, per the notice period below.
Cancellation
You may cancel ongoing services at any time by providing 30 days' written notice (email is sufficient) to contact@412webco.com. Your service and monthly billing will end at the close of that 30-day notice period.
Domain & Site Access After Cancellation
If we registered your domain on your behalf, we will transfer it to you (or a registrar of your choice) within 30 days of a completed cancellation, provided all outstanding fees have been paid. A reasonable transfer-processing fee may apply, as specified in your service agreement. If your domain was already registered under your own account, no transfer is needed.
Our Commitment
If we fail to deliver a project substantially as agreed, or a technical issue on our end causes a significant service outage, contact us directly — we'll work with you on a fair resolution, which may include a partial refund, credit, or additional work at no charge, evaluated case by case.
How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
Email contact@412webco.com with your name, business name, and request. We aim to respond within one business day.
